Hot Water in an Instant, Anywhere in Your Home.

In typical plumbing, water flows from the water heater through the pipes to the tap. Once the tap is shut off, the water remaining in the pipes cools—resulting in the familiar wait for hot water the next time the tap is opened. Many gallons of water are wasted—and so is your time. The Grundfos Comfort System offers a simple and affordable solution by attaching a hot water recirculating pump to the water heater through the hot water pipe. The pump keeps the water in your pipes moving, giving you constant hot water—without the wait or the waste. Plus, the pump’s design ensures quiet, maintenance-free operation. With hot water in an instant you’ll enjoy more and waste less.

• Save over 12,000 gallons of water per year
• Whisper-quiet operation
• Installation takes an hour or less
• A single pump connects directly to your water heater
• No return line required
• Built-in timer for energy efficiency during non-peak operation

Existing Home Retrofit – Bypass

This system uses a hot water recirculating pump with a built-in timer at the water heater and one or more bypass valves (mounted under the sink farthest from the water heater). The pump keeps hot water moving, giving you hot water in an instant. This system uses the cold water supply line as the “return line” to the water heater.

New Construction – Return Line

During construction of a new home, a dedicated return line is installed from the end of the hot water line back to the water heater. A hot water recirculating pump is used to move hot water through the system to keep hot water available throughout your home.
